Harbin, China 2010 Ice Festival

Harbin is a city in the very norther tip of China near the Siberian border. Every year they host an ice and a snow festival. All the structures you see in these photos are made from ice which is cut from the local river. Average temperature at night is about -20F, and daytime temperature is about 6F.
